Cedar Planter Boxes

As part of an upgrade to the front  of this Edgewater home the couple wanted three planter boxes designed and built to span a bank of five windows. I prepared drawings with some options and drafted drawings to scale on foam core so that we could hold them up in place to help gauge how the scale and some of the moulding details would look. The boxes were built out of cedar and the corbels underneath were made out of cedar blocks milled from 6″ x 6″ timbers. The boxes were delivered and installed with one coat of oil based primer. The overall project includes painting the siding, windows and planter boxes as well as adding a brick foundation underneath (pictures to come, CLICK ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF PHOTO TO SCROLL THROUGH MULTIPLE VIEWS OF THE PROJECT).
